An otherwise unremarkable little note, except that it was pounced upon by Peter C. Emberley as an example of liberal daffiness, in his "Hot-button politics on campus", The Globe and Mail (27 July 96), and in the larger polemic that piece comes from, his Zero tolerance: Hot button politics in Canada's universities (Penguin Canada, 1996).
